Retail Services

First, our serious philosophy on choosing your diving equipment service provider:
Even though we are in the business of servicing dive equipment, we truly believe the best place to have your equipment serviced is your local dive store.
They know you, they live in your community, and you should support them and they should support you.

But if that is not an option, we are standing by to serve you.

We offer factory trained service on almost every piece of sport diving equipment from every manufacturer made in the last 20 years.

A list of the manufacturers whose equipment we normally service includes:
(If it is not on this list, please call - we may still be able to help you.)

AGA full-face masks
Aqualung / USDivers / Apeks

Dive Rite

Neptune full-face masks
OTS Guardian full-face masks

XS Scuba

A list of the manufacturers whose equipment we cannot service includes:

Dacor prior to 1998

OMS regulators
Pro Sub
Sea Elite
Scuba Max
US Tech
Z 90
Dacor Pacer series

Further, there is an age limit on the regs we can service, primarily due to parts availability.
If you believe your regulator was built before 1996, please give us a call prior to shipping it to us. 919-255-1888.

For annual warranty service on regulators, we charge:

  • $35 per stage, plus parts, for our normal 14 day service, or...
  • $45 per stage, plus parts, for 8 to 13 day service, or
  • $50 per stage, plus parts, for 3 to 7 day service, or...
  • $65 per stage, plus parts, for 24 to 48 hour service.

For this, we completely disassemble the regulator and clean all of the parts as prescribed by the manufacturer. We then reassemble the regulator, replacing the warranty parts (typically this includes but may not be limited to the filter, valve seats, and dynamic O-rings), and inspecting all of the components. Once reassembled, the regulator is put on our flow bench and tuned to the manufacturer's specifications for interstage pressures, flow rates, cracking pressure (inhalation effort) and exhalation effort.

Annual service for a BCD is the same as for a regulator stage.
For this, we disassemble and clean the inflator valve, dump valve, and overpressure valves, check all the straps and buckles, and do a comprehensive leak test.

Submitting your equipment to us for service:
This is a simple 2-part process: Complete our on-line service submission ticket here, and then ship us your equipment. We'd even appreciate a phone call if this will be your first experience with us. It's a good way to get all of your questions answered and for us to get to know you.

And if we've missed anything above, don't hesitate to call if we might be able to be of help. 10 AM to 6PM Mon thru Fri and Saturdays from 10A to 5P (east coast time).
