Basic
Service Technician Course
The
Concept: We believe anyone relatively new to scuba service (a
year or less) will find this course to be extremely valuable. It is ideal
for new service techs before they attend their first manufacturer's manual-driven
short course. The learning is also evaluated and verified at course completion.
A written and a practical examination are administered, both of which
must be passed before a course certificate is issued.
The
Training. This program covers:
- Engineering
concepts and materials used in all components of scuba
- Appropriate
scuba service tools and diagnostic equipment
- Appropriate
bench procedures for cleaning and inspecting
- Standard
methods of equipment reassembly
- Standard
methods of bench-testing/adjusting
- Creating
and maintaining standardized service records for both business management
and defensibility.
The
Schedule:
- Please
give us a call. We schedule these three-day classes as need indicates.
The
Cost: $350
The
Guarantee: If, at the completion of the course, you don't feel
it was worth the money, we will refund your tuition immediately.
What
to bring: Nothing but a positive attitude and a curious mind.
We will provide a service notebook and use of all tools during the course.
